Collective healing through yoga and wellness for all

United Collective

United Collective is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit that believes in a more equitable, diverse, and interconnected humanity and our mission is to bring collective healing, connection, and joy to our community and beyond. We seek to provide accessible wellness and education through trainings, workshops, classes, retreats and more that are rooted in yogic philosophy and tools that are inspired by modern wellness modalities.

Yoga Teacher Training Scholarship Fund

United Yoga is proud to have offered incredible Yoga Teacher trainings since 2017 to our community. You can read more about our trainings here. Since the beginning we have been passionate about educating, encouraging, and empowering individuals who have been underrepresented and disenfranchised as well as those who are seeking to pursue impactful work while using the philosophy and tools of yoga to bring healing, connection, and joy to their community.

United has been able to offer thousands of dollars in scholarships to people through out these trainings in order to make this education accessible. In order to continue to offer these scholarships to our upcoming training and for trainings to come we need your help!

Please consider donating to our scholarship fund which provides partial to fully covered tuition for each YTT cohort for 1-3 individuals.

Give Me 5, A Monthly Subscription

The reason we’re able to provide scholarships for teacher training and community care awards for our retreats is because of your generosity! To fundraise for 2024 we would love your support with our “Give me 5” campaign by subscribing to give just $5 a month to United Collective for the year of 2024. Our goal is 100 supporters or more to our “Give Me 🖐🏾” campaign. We receive numerous applications each year and are holding a vision to offer double the scholarships and awards we were able to in 2023 to grant more people the opportunity for healing, growth and wellness.

For perspective:

🖐🏾20 High 5’s fund two fully funded retreat awards

🖐🏾50 High 5’s fund four partial teacher training scholarships

🖐🏾100 High 5’s fund two full teacher training scholarships, or 10 fully funded retreat awards

I was lucky enough to have received the community care award and go to Yosemite. I went on this amazing trip with all these amazing people. I worked on myself, and did a lot of reflecting. I enjoyed the nature, the outdoors, the community we built, the yoga, and all the healing. I knew that the retreat was going to be good for me, but I didn’t anticipate how much it would really impact me in such a positive way. The CCA really was such a blessing and I cannot thank United Yoga and the United Collective, enough for the opportunity.

For a long time I’ve lived in a space where wellness has been inaccessible to me. It always felt expensive or uncomfortable because I didn’t see people like me in wellness spaces I tried to go to. There are a few times in my life I have felt seen, heard, and appreciated. United Yoga is one space where I felt it was accessible to me and also felt a sense of belonging. In the UY community I was able to take up space as me and unapologetically. My dear friend nominated me for the Community Care award for the Cresent moon yoga retreat hosted by Michelle and Marina from the United Collective and I got it!!!! I was fed, loved, and mothered by Caroline and Corinne. I got to share space in the dessert and dance a silent disco, with a freedom my spirit yearned for. Being able to experience this retreat felt divinely placed in my life at the right time to receive an abundance of love, wisdom and grace. This retreat has brought me a newfound appreciation for myself & I am so grateful to have been chosen.
