Vinyasa comes from the translation "to link in a special way". Our vinyasa flow classes are designed to combine movement with breath as we flow from one posture to the next. This is a cardio rhythmic dance-like flow building body awareness, strength, balance, and length to the body. Our level 1 is for all levels and beginners to learn the basics of vinyasa flow. Our level 2 introduces advanced postures including inversions and arm balances.

Style: Hatha Yoga

Tempo Slow to Medium
This is a hatha style yoga class. With a more subtle introduction to general yoga this class includes slow paced sun salutations, medium to longer hold standing postures with a gentle opening and cool down of reclined or seating poses. This class is perfect for the beginner yogi but also the more experienced practitioner looking to simplify their practice by mindful movement. Each class ends with mindful meditation.
An Iyengar inspired class bringing it back to the basics, utilizing props for correct alignment, and gaining awareness on how to refine your practice using precise actions in the body. Every class will begin with sun salutations to warm up the body followed by a methodical sequence to lead to a peak pose or theme. This class is essential if you are new to yoga or looking to advance as your practice.
Strength & Mobility Yoga
Style: Yin Yang
This is a half Yin and half Yang yoga class. Start off heating up the body with sun salutations and a sequence of standing poses that are dynamic & active followed by passive postures usually seated or reclined held for longer periods of time (3-5 minutes) to allow for deep opening of the connective tissue of the hips, pelvis and spine. This is a blend of two styles of yoga that will bring you the balance that you need. Recommended to have vinyasa flow experience.
These classes restore the body by increasing circulation through gentle movements. Props are utilized to provide comfort in poses held for an extended period of time providing relief from pain and support of muscles and joints. Combining breathing and meditation techniques allows for an inner focus bringing calmness to the nervous system.
Style: Yin Yoga
This is Yin class that focuses on the opening of the connective tissues surrounding the joints increasing mobility through passive postures on the floor. Not to be confused with a restorative style, this class is not relaxing but instead challenges the idea of finding peace and ease in the discomfort that potentially arises as you hold poses from 3 to even 20 minutes at a time. Yin Yoga is the gateway to a meditative practice as you find peace in the stillness.
This is a cardio yoga upbeat class using free weights to build lean muscle mass while lengthening and stretching muscles. Incorporate strength-training moves like squats, lunges and bicep curls mixed with sun salutations and common yoga postures. We recommend that you have one month or 8-10 classes of experience with vinyasa flow first.
Prenatal Yoga provides a safe and calm atmosphere for mamas to be. Classes are designed to provide, balance, strength, and circulation using modifications for each trimester. Learn breathing and relaxation techniques to prepare you for labor while gaining support from other expecting mamas.
