We provide classes of all levels with experienced teachers ready to provide modifications to meet your level. Our classes are kept intimate in order to give you the attention you need.
Level 1 & Level 2
Vinyasa comes from the translation "to link in a special way". Our vinyasa flow classes are designed to combine movement with breath as we flow from one posture to the next. This is a cardio rhythmic dance-like flow building body awareness, strength, balance, and length to the body. Our level 1 is for all levels and beginners to learn the basics of vinyasa flow. Our level 2 introduces advanced postures including inversions and arm balances.
Style: Hatha Yoga
Intensity Low to Medium
Tempo Slow to Medium
This is a hatha style yoga class. With a more subtle introduction to general yoga. It begins with a slow opening, may include slow paced sun salutations, medium to longer hold standing postures with a gentle opening and cool down of reclined or seating poses. This class is perfect for the beginner yogi but also the more experienced practitioner looking to simplify their practice by mindful movement. Each class ends with mindful meditation.
Style: Iyengar + Vinyasa
An Iyengar inspired class utilizing props for correct alignment, and gaining awareness on how to refine your practice using precise actions in the body. Every class is methodically sequenced beginning with a vinyasa flow of sun salutations to warm up the body followed with a series of postures that either lead to a peak pose or carry the same shape or muscle focus group. This class is essential if you are new to yoga or looking to advance as your practice.
Yin & Yang Yoga
Style: Vinyasa +Yin
Intensity Medium then Low
Tempo Medium then Slow
This is a half Yin and half Yang yoga class. Start off heating up the body with sun salutations and a sequence of standing poses that are dynamic & active followed by passive postures usually seated or reclined held for longer periods of time (3-5 minutes) to allow for deep opening of the connective tissue of the hips, pelvis and spine. This is a blend of two styles of yoga that will bring you the balance that you need. Recommended to have vinyasa flow experience.
These classes restore the body by increasing circulation through gentle movements. Props are utilized to provide comfort in poses held for an extended period of time providing relief from pain and support of muscles and joints. Combining breathing and meditation techniques allows for an inner focus bringing calmness to the nervous system.
Style: Yin Yoga
This is Yin class that focuses on the opening of the connective tissues surrounding the joints increasing mobility through passive postures on the floor. Not to be confused with a restorative style, this class is not relaxing but instead challenges the idea of finding peace and ease in the discomfort that potentially arises as you hold poses from 3 to even 20 minutes at a time. Yin Yoga is the gateway to a meditative practice as you find peace in the stillness.
This is a cardio yoga upbeat class using free weights to build lean muscle mass while lengthening and stretching muscles. Incorporate strength-training moves like squats, lunges and bicep curls mixed with sun salutations and common yoga postures. We recommend that you have one month or 8-10 classes of experience with vinyasa flow first.
Prenatal Yoga provides a safe and calm atmosphere for mamas to be. Classes are designed to provide, balance, strength, and circulation using modifications for each trimester. Learn breathing and relaxation techniques to prepare you for labor while gaining support from other expecting mamas.
Detox your body with our only heated yoga class with a the temperature set to 85-90 degrees. This class will include both yin & yang of yoga. Expect to be challenged with more movement, twists, side bends, heart & hip openers and long holds. Sweat it out!
This is a hatha style yoga class that uniquely explores the connection between biblical versus and yoga postures creating an experiential form of Christian worship. Through prayer, meditation, breath work, movement, and contemporary worship music, believers have an opportunity to deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ. This practice is intended to create a sacred space on your mat and cultivate a greater understanding of how God manifests in our minds, bodies, and spirits.
Yoga Nidra is a meditation technique in which the practitioner is guided into a deep state of relaxation while remaining fully conscious and aware. It can help reduce stress and anxiety, relieve tension in the body, quiet the mind, create healthy pranic flow (energy), and promotes better sleep. This practice can also increase your capacity to observe the sensations and emotions that arise in your body without immediately reacting to them, helping you to become more mindful and connected to your higher self. All levels of experience in meditation and yoga are welcome.
Our version of an open gym where students may show up anytime within the hour. During this session you are given the opportunity to practice various asanas and refine the skills & techniques learned in our general classes. This is a great place for both beginner's and advanced students alike. You will have access to all props necessary with a certified teacher always available to offer guidance, address any questions, and to ensure safety. There is no official start time but all students must begin with a 15 minute sun salutation warm up (hand out will be available) and finish with at least a 5 minute cool down.
Embodied yoga is a practice focused on the moment-to-moment experience of the participant, and on participants making choices in each yoga form. Participants are encouraged throughout the class to make active choices about how to engage with each suggested movement.
In this class, the teacher does not do physical assists, rather I will model movements and suggest structure. Participant feedback is welcome and encouraged. All are welcome! No previous yoga experience needed.
Therapeutic Yoga is a particularly effective practice for those recovering from, or living with, injury or illness. This class combines restorative yoga (supported postures), gentle yoga, breath work, hands-on healing, and guided meditation techniques in such a way that it is an excellent choice for those who need something gentle yet effective for bringing the body into balance and reducing stress. Therapeutic Yoga is a deeply meditative experience – it provides the opportunity to step away from the busy-ness of the outside world and access the deeper wisdom that resides within us.
Align & Flow
Pace Slow to Fast
This class is a little bit of alignment and then a lot more flow. Each session will begin with optimal alignment in a creatively designed sequence followed by the freedom to flow at your own pace. Take your time time to go slow and feel, observe and adjust, or even up level & add your own movement. Allow yourself to have fun in this playful class that is always accompanied with high vibe & feel good tunes!
