  • 2: Yoga poses that go beyond the basics for those looking for a challenge.
  • 3: Yoga poses for those who are serious about their yoga training.

Vinyasa

Vinyasa comes from the translation "to link in a special way". Our vinyasa flow classes are designed to combine movement with breath as we flow from one posture to the next. This is a cardio rhythmic dance-like flow building body awareness, strength, balance, and length to the body. 

 

YinYasa 

  • Level 1
  • Intensity Low
  • Tempo Slow

This is a half Vinyasa, half Yin Yoga class. Start off heating up the body with sun salutations and a sequence of standing poses followed by passive postures usually seated or reclined held for longer periods of time (3-5 minutes) to allow for deep opening of the connective tissue of the hips, pelvis and spine.  

 

Power Flow

  • Level 2

  • Tempo Fast

A fast pace vinyasa flow linking breath and movement through a series of sun salutations mixed in with creative sequencing and advanced postures such as handstands, arm balances and backbends. Modifications and variations are offered for all-levels however this vigorous style requires at least 3-6 months of practice. 

 

Restorative

  • Level All
  • Intensity Low
  • Tempo Slow

These classes restore the body by increasing circulation through gentle movements. Props are utilized to provide comfort in poses held for an extended period of time providing relief from pain and support of muscles and joints. Combining breathing and meditation techniques allows for an inner focus bringing calmness to the nervous system.   

 

Core

A PiYo inspired class combining muscle-sculpting, core-firming benefits of pilates with the strength and flexibility advantages of yoga.  

 

Sculpt 

  • Level 1/2
  • Intensity High
  • Tempo Fast

This is a cardio upbeat class using free weights to build lean muscle mass while lengthening and stretching muscles. Incorporate strength-training moves like squats, lunges and bicep curls mixed with sun salutations and common yoga postures.

 

Prenatal

  • Level All
  • Intensity Low 
  • Tempo Slow

Prenatal Yoga provides a safe and calm atmosphere for mamas to be. Classes are designed to provide, balance, strength, and circulation using modifications for each trimester. Learn breathing and relaxation techniques to prepare you for labor while gaining support from other expecting mamas. 

Precision

  • Level All
  • Intensity Low
  • Tempo Slow

An Iyengar inspired class bringing it back to the basics, utilizing props for correct alignment, and gaining awareness on how to refine your practice using precise actions in the body. Every class will begin with sun salutations to warm up the body followed by a methodical sequence to lead to a peak pose. This class is essential if you are new to yoga or looking to advance as your practice.

 

Slow Flow

  • Tempo Slow

This is a vinyasa flow linking breathe to movement including slow paced sun salutations, medium to longer hold standing postures with a gentle opening and cool down of reclined or seating poses. This class is perfect for the beginner yogi but also the more experienced practitioner looking to simplify their practice. 

 

Strength & Mobility Flow

  • Level 1/2
  • Intensity High
  • Tempo Combination

This class designed is to build strength using dynamic resistant training movements combined with long isometric holds of classic yoga postures to tone and create a deeper muscle awareness. This class complements athletic training, enhances mobility, and aids in endurance.
